Be more Bear in January
I hope this finds you easing into 2023. I’m trying something different this year instead of my usual ‘Resolutions’ that don’t last more than 2 weeks and leave me feeling a bit deflated.
This year instead I’m embracing the urge to ‘hibernate’ like a Bear. Maybe this looks like more time under a blanket reading a great book, earlier bed times (never actually going to happen), more film nights in with lovely people and warm, nourishing drinks and foods.
Lets go easy on ourselves. Maybe this isn’t the season to re-invent ourselves and feel guilty for wanting another 5 minutes on the sofa, but rather to snuggle and rest.
When nature wakes up in Spring, we can stretch out, leap up and go for it!
