Are you getting the right support?

It’s all too easy to power on through life and maybe ignore those niggles, pains or stresses as we tick off the to-do list, care for others or focus on work.

I realised I have been ignoring problems with my neck for a few years and having recently sought help from a Chiropractor am seeing really encouraging results - I’m slightly embarrassed I didn’t seek help earlier!

Every now and then, try to take a moment to think about what’s going on for you - do you have painful neck tension? Maybe your anxiety levels are high most of the time or you struggle to sleep. Are you struggling with Perimenopausal symptoms?

  • If there is something going on (emotionally / physically / mentally) - ask yourself if you are getting the right support- there are a wealth of great people out there who might be able to ease or support you with what’s going on.

You could start with a trip to the GP who might sign post you onwards. Or maybe it’s a Chiropractor, Acupuncturist, Reflexologist or Therapist who might better support you.

There is lots of free help out there (as I say, maybe start with your GP).

However if you do decide to pay a therapist/ practitioner it can be daunting at first. Make sure you feel comfortable with who ever you see, ask if they are members of a professional body and always remember you are entitled to ask to see qualifications, testimonials and insurance details.

Take care,

Kathxx
